We went on an excursion to Pillsbury Crossing this weekend. Pillsbury Crossing is basically a place where water covers a wide section of the road, and people drive their cars out into the water to hang out, or to walk over to the small waterfall. We took the trooper - the first real outing with both dogs in Jerry. Chauncey particularly enjoyed laying down in the water and the mud, while Ryser and John had fun climbing on the rocks by the waterfall. It was a great place to spend a nice, lazy Saturday afternoon with the dogs.
On the drive there, we saw a turtle in the middle of the road. We stopped so that John could move him out of the road. The dogs were intrigued.
